Really? Guess you don't read the real news too much.
They are lining up overseas because the average person here can't buy them!
It's a sad statement about the state of things here that the average person within Japan can not afford to purchase the products that these folks are exporting overseas?

isn't it nice dealing with countries that do not block imports of agriculture Japan? You could learn something...
Ganbare Japan!
Amazing news! Agriculture and fishing in Japan is coming back, and in future with hi-tech and robots doing all the work farmers will not even be needed. Consumers all around Asia are lining up to buy Japanese produce now.

I wonder if the fact that Japanese consumers aren't buying these products that are coming from Fukushima and surrounding prefectures is in for a reason.
I remember a few months ago, Taiwan found out that daiso has been importing products from Fukushima but labeled under another prefecture's name.

When I pay an average price of 600 yen for two peaches I am at a loss as to whether I should eat them or place them on an altar.....

Funny how a country that bitches and moans about restrictions somehow manages to make a killing on exporting many of the very same products.
As a consumer here in Japan, it pisses me off that I have to pay such high prices for many seafood products when prices could come down if these exported products were in the domestic market!
