How convenient.

Now when Abe has trade talks with Trump he can say ‘we can’t do this or that’ or ‘we can’t include this industry or that industry’ due to ‘market sentiment’.

’The government would really like to do it, but now isn’t a good time for certain industries’ etc etc.

As always too much focus on the economy and growth (greed) at the expense of all else. Japan should be happy with it's current position as an industrialized country and focus on quality of life issues - ie QUALITY not QUANTITY!!

Some analysts had expected a rebound in sentiment.

Because not everyone is drinking the LDP kool-aid about how the economy is breaking records etc... but there will always be a few people at the kool-aid trough!
