What really makes Japan being optimistic these days? Leaderships, economy, Japan's next generation? Please tell.

76 percent said they were undecided over their wage policy for the spring wage negotiations for 2025

That's a no. The Yen is loosing its value again, while the prices, are increasing week after week, as can be seen in supermarkets, travel, hotels, etc...

A strangely negative headline for a survey where 71% percent of respondents are still optimistic. Yes, 71% is not as high as 80%, but it is still very high. Japan was late coming out of Covid, so there was bound to be lots of optimism based on pent-up demand a year ago. That optimism has only fallen 9% in is a positive sign.
