Japan and India should make a big leap forward in the field of defense production to produce cutting edge defense equipment for the benefit of armed forces of both the countries to promote peace, security and stability in the region.

How come you don't heat Abe start every sentence with "As the only country to stuffer a nuclear attack..." like he usually does? Ah, that's right -- only when it benefits him.

One of my hopes for the rise of both India and China is that, as late developers, they might both be able to leap-frog the rest of the developed world int he use of renewable and clean energy. Both are abject failures in this respect but China, with a centrally directly economy, could have done/can do a lot more. Over time, it's clear that India will slip further behind China mostly due to the perpetuation of the caste system.

Both nations are already armed to the teeth with Japan having the U.S. as its ace in the hole. No one else in Asia is much threatened except for S. Korea. Only the Philippines seems to have otherwise lost the thread.
