Japan tells banks to report suspicious transfers by Japan-N Korea joint ventures

Proximity brings unexpected problems.

There already exist Japanese unilateral sanctions....more broad than UN ones. If the Japanese can't obey their own rules, that would be extraordinary. Maybe this is just fake drama.

I would have thought that Japan banks were not allowed to have any dealings with N. Korea... wonder if the US knows about this ?
