A socialist country camouflaging as a capitalist.

Everything is under the control of the beaureucrats.

How do some countries continue to be deceived by japan on free trade remains a mystery.

In one breath the story says the government is happy about how some potato pest issue in Idaho has been dealt with.

In another we read that 'The government has apparently decided that the influence of imports on major potato producers in the country such as Hokkaido will be limited since the current amount of potato imports is considerably small compared with the domestic produce.'

The former was the tatemae and the latter the honne, I conclude.

Japanese consumers and potato chip producers should be voicing their interests more. Give the other political parties an issue to attack the LDP on.
