Japan to promote private sector involvement in space development

How about cutting down the size of government and reducing our taxes instead? We'll decide what to invest in ourselves. Thanks.

The public sector is promoting greater participation by the private sector. Anyone notice the irony/paradox there?

 "...the government will also support construction of facilities...." 

Which will be done by private corporations who will pocket the profits, thank you very much. Corporate welfare at its best.
