Its pretty terrible, and so difficult to talk about anything sensible related to smoking with so many people that can't see past their next hit.

The Finance Ministry benefits greatly from all of this, because it holds 1/3 of JT's stocks. What a dirty business.

As nippori said - the developed world has wizened up to these death-mongers games, they now are seeking fresh killing fields to push their wares.

This story should attract serious attention / debate here in Japan, but sadly it won't.
