My flights are currently United non-stop to Narita, so I pray they get a slot.

What about the rest of the world? Not everyone flies to America. This is why the Middle East is so popular with transit passengers.

So, no more 11 p.m. flights to Hawaii?

I live in a fairly central Tokyo location. But I need to take 3 packed commuter trains to get to Haneda. Changing at Shinagawa was hell last time I went, as the rushhour crush nearly pushed us and our suitcases off the platform. .
No thanks. Much prefer Narita on the comfortable Skyliner Luggage racks, reserved seating....yes!
