Japanese businesses to offer benefits using vaccination app

What a sad state of affairs…

I’ve had both Pfizer shots, but I don’t agree with any kind of discrimination, and that’s all this is. Any business that promotes this kind of “Covid Passport” I will avoid and do my business elsewhere. All we need now is another form of discrimination, its laughable that many people here who may have experienced discrimination based on their appearance or background would support this concept, not surprising though.

If I walk into a restaurant or business,  I really don’t care about vaccination “status” of the people around me, makes no difference to me. I’m somewhat protected by the vaccine I took, stay fit with exercise daily and eat well.

Lets end the division. Take care.

If you're always confused even with little things like that you should consult with competent people regarding important things like vaccines

More and more fully vaccinated people are getting infected throughout the world.

It would be impossible for less and less people to get infected.

The new app will only encourage infected vaccine recipients to move around and infect healthy unvaccinated people.

Equivalent to saying that having a clean driving license encourages the holders to drive around more and crash into drunks that don't have a license.

If you chose not to get vaccinated then you have to accept that you have a far higher chance of getting sick, hospitalized or dying. That's on you, not us for getting on with life.

One key element in this moronic vaccine passport plan negates any possibility of "drastically lowers the risk of infection in everyone". It is stated in the final sentence of the article:

Those who have not been vaccinated or who do not present the app will be able to receive the same services as before.

So essentially, the vaccine passport shall have as much bite as all the voluntary States of Emergency.

Oh dear Here it comes…another tracking app bet it will get hacked and exploited. Personal info should stay very secured if Online. I won’t be forced to use that app. I don’t appreciate that app. Take your freedom over a vaccine…

Agreed. I'd also like them to pay in full for any covid-19 related treatment they need in the future. Choices have consequences. Bad choices have bad ones.

If you are worried about getting tracked, then You wouldn’t own a smartphone, use ANY Google, Amazon, Uber, especially Facebook related apps etc…

I would much rather dine with people who less chance of spreading it to me, so I don’t spread it go kids or the elderly and those who can’t get vaccinated.

It looks more like another advertisement stunt. There is no real need for jabs incentives in Japan. It has already over 70% with at least one shot, and the vaccination rate is not slowing down.

So that app it will collect people data that already got vaccinated? Another news in the future will be something related to certain incident.

Agree. I'd just add "proof of pre-existing condition that makes you the vaccine a risk" for the few people who can't make that choice and are put at risk by those who do and choose to not get vaccinated.

I have a couple Japanese friends who are scared like hell to get vaccinated, it was early on when FAKE and JUNK news were in full gear about how the vaccine will damage the reproduction system and cause birth defects which all turned out to be wrong and FAKE, but it'd too late to convince some people.

Prosecutors should be going after the people who are responsible or behind these lies so it will not happen again..

If you need to get a vax to gain these so-called 'freedoms,' you're not free. You're a hostage victim.

Like most people, I've already got plenty of business-related apps, for airlines, car rental, food delivery, etc. This is just another, and it's no problem for me and millions others.

Looks more like a merchandising gag for a very limited customer group. Let’s do a little survey. Who is an Antler fan, likes Kappa sushi and books a travel with HIS including a stay at an APA? Don’t be shy, have the courage and out yourself….lol And that app proves probably nothing, as anyone can upload any picture and fill in two fictional dates.
