What a basket case the japanese economy really is. There's absolutely nothing that can be done to rescue it either. Falling population and 40% of workers on totally insecure, rubbish contract and part time positions means the japanese economy is without hope.

A weak yen doesn't help Japan because Japan Inc already has its factories in China where wages are a fraction of a Japanese workers'

It might just be that the "setback" for Abenomics is due to the fact the first two "arrows" of Abenomics are nonsense, with a fiscal "stimulus" that takes money out of the economy, and a monetary "stimulus" that shuffles existing dead money around between different accounts. The third "arrow" is just a collection of various pet ideas, most of them either useless or worse, being thrown at the wall to see what sticks. In other words, the "setback" is exactly what should have been expected, and it should be expected to continue as well.
