Scapegoat. Not just the disaster. Problems of long years of mismanagement and business greed are accumulating and peek with the disaster.
The the almighty business lords of Japan (including Tepco) are now trying to cover the loss by looting and making the poorest and the most vulnerable groups of the society to cover the risings cost of the disaster, of their fumbling and mismanagement as well as the squandered fortune of Japan.
Lack of electricity at the same time halts production lines and forces the other business lords to relocate their business to a safer place, safer country, causing more loss to japan and the economy.
Little wonder GDP is shrinking and will go on shrinking.

All hope is gone.
I like to think not. Hope wrests in the domestic economy. Industries here need further deregulation and consumers need more reasons to spend their savings.
