Smalls hopes the success in New York will embolden workers at other facilities to launch their own organizing campaigns.
Smalls is a legend. He was a supervisor at an Amazon warehouse and a whistle blower at the start of the pandemic when Amazon workers were deemed "essential" and not provided any paid sick leave nor protective equipment.
