Not surprising. Britain is an extraordinarily popular country. I always look forward to going there, especially if there's time for a jaunt to the countryside.

Hmmm bit skeptical about this "study" - which was undertaken by a consulting group and a job site where a large chunk of the positions available are in accounting and sales. The point I'm getting at is, over 70% of London's GDP is derived from the financial services industry. What a lot of the respondents fail to realise is that the weather in London is downright awful. Then throw in the cost of living, the poor air quality (almost all modes of transport run on diesel) & general lower living standards... In fact most Brits I know want to move to Australia (particularly Sydney)...

if you're talking about true high finance, NYC is still better - euro banks are cutting back, it's common knowledge
