Marunouchi Brick Square opens in Park Building

Mitsubishi Estate on Thursday opened the Marunouchi Brick Square, Tokyo's newest commercial shopping zone located on the first basement floor through the fourth floor of the Marunouchi Park Building.

Embracing the concept of “comfort,” the Marunouchi Brick Square offers new means of relaxation with unique restaurants and alfresco cafes overlooking a lush green square, the Ichigokan Square, which complements a classic red brick backdrop provided by the newly restored, historic Mitsubishi Ichigokan.

A total of 36 shops and restaurants include the confectionery shop Cacao Sampaka from Barcelona, Spain, the popular Italian restaurant A16 from San Francisco, Kyoto-style cuisine and tea bar Mamemaru, as well as the latest Tokyo installment by legendary French Chef Joël Robuchon.

The Marunouchi Brick Square is located as the central gateway on Naka-dori connecting Marunouchi and Yurakucho.

Nice place. Went to a yakitori restaurant for a grand opening... Free dinner! Yea!

Great restaurants, they will give other restaurants in the area a run for their money.
