Inb4, and world health improved for short time. Fat chance.

 will move restaurant computations from servers into the cloud.

Put everything in cloud and apps.

Now, cloud has an outage, nothing can be done.

Consider stuff like this as a warning to be heeded. 'Digital' is less resilient. One tiny piece fails and you can't buy a burger or get cash from your bank or receive a quake warning.

Every commercial and government entity should be legally obliged to have a tested, workable Plan B that can maintain basic functionality when the tech falls over. Because at some point, the tech will fall over.

Cash is always King!

So hiring mindless staff who depend on self service aspects has its drawbacks now doesn’t it.

One wonders if the Big Mac was hacked and refused to pay out? Thus, the shutdown. Wouldn't be the first time, seems a common playbook.

That’s odd, I went to the supermarket 4 days ago and was looking for some heavy cream. A sign up said “system failure”. All the brands were gone. How does that happen?

Digital risk is real and thus digital security a great long-term market, surely Big Mac will be spending more $.

This is exactly why the world can never go cashless. Cash is the fail safe fallback. When tech fails, when disasters strike, cash always keeps working.

Those businesses that do not accept cash are going to experience episodes where they cant do any business at all. Those who do accept cash can always sell goods and services, even when the internet is down, phone lines are down or computers are down, through earth quakes, floods and any disasters

There will always be a place in society for cash, like it or not.
