Serving 90% of the US population. One of highest obesity rates in the world. Definitely no causative association there.

Since McDonalds costs as much as a sit down restaurant, I go to sit down restaurants. I ate at a McDonalds 18 years ago and haven't been back since. I'm surprised anyone goes there anymore. Their food tastes like baggies and now (because the can, not because they have to) they want big bucks for cheap food. Nah. Maybe I'll try it again 18 years from now. Nah.

McDonalds, the hamburger shop that snobs love to hate…

Visceral knee-jerk reactions aside, McD is no less healthy than any other fast food joint, Subway included.

McD is in reality, innovative in both business and practicality, and serve a consistent, standard product anywhere in the world .

Is McSomething a "food"?

Do you call them a "restaurant"?

I don't even know why Mr Erlinger would even bother responding to fake news social media, clickbait, influencer, freeloading and irrelevant accusation.

Most of his customers visit McDonalds regularly and know the true price of a Maccas meal. I get a quarter pounder at least once a week, a lot less inflationary than your diner meal.

No thanks to what passes for real food…

For those interested the small size they mention is medium in Japan. If America ever had MOS Burger then McDonald’s would be done overnight.

Really? I've always thought Mos fayre was distictly average. Thick slabs of onion and tomato don't do it for me, nor do the slop sauces, and the patties are quite tasteless.

I follow a pretty good diet, but occasionally I just have to have to pop in to the arches and pick up a couple of Samurai burgers. I've no idea what is in them but they scratch an itch.

McDonald's is sold all over the world. When McD's left Russia, guess what Russia did? They didn't get rid of it. They just have another business take over the old McD's and sell the exact same things! Because they couldn't live without it! Lol

It's the same all over the world. If people don't like it, why is it popular everywhere? Don't lie to yourselves: it doesn't matter the nationality or ethnicity like ya guys pretend it's just Americans (your nationality or ethnicity, whatever it is, likes it too!)

Depends on the size and the cost - most people want more bang for the buck
