And what happens to this factory when a big earthquake hits the New Madrid fault system? Some say that when it happens, downtown Memphis will slide into the Mississippi River.

In case of the big earthquake, the factory is ruined and stops producing electricity. This is a safety measure since with the entire town sliding into the water, there would be a high risk of electrical shock.
