Mitsui Fudosan Co on Thursday opened its largest shopping mall in Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture. Mitsui Outlet Park Iruma, which is 89,000 square meters, has 204 Japanese and foreign brand shops, as well as 11 food courts. It has parking space for about 3,000 cars.

Mitsui Fudosan said it expects the complex to draw visitors from neighboring prefectures. The company plans to renovate existing outlet malls and open new ones nationwide.
