Let's be honest, these systems are found in high end cars with smooth suspensions and much sound-proofing. They also have great sound systems. So the drivers could be lulled to sleep or a sedative state. A driver of a noisy, rattling Nissan Versa has no need of a driver monitoring system, as the car's vibration and roadnoise will keep him awake and alert.
