I have only ever had one nissan car and never again had many transmission issues had leaky coolant hoses and cost me a lot I got rid of it as soon as I could it didn't even last 5 years. Never ever again.

If you buy a Nissan be warned about thier CTV transmission money pit.

This is outrageous, we are trashing tax payers money in a private company that is heading to certain death.

Nissan received record ¥130 bil state loan guarantee

i have just profited from nissan shares that went up this morning

Woo, that's nice. You ought to thank us tax payers for propping up your shares via a ¥130 bil state loan guarantee.

So much for western management.

Ah you referring to Ghosn's callous cost-cutting, perhaps? How nasty it was. Japanese management would never do such.. er...

Nissan has slashed costs, including with the closure of its Barcelona plant and cuts to production, in an attempt to get back on track.

Nissan is already death but someone forgot to tell them. Very nice being happy with a 4+ billion USD quarterly loss. We all know that every Japanese company sets unattainable profit outlooks for the end of each fiscal year.

Besides below average cars, the worst among Japanese major manufacturers, marketing is a dirty word at Nissan. They should for example have adopted the Datsun name again instead of dumping the brand. But then, how to understand they put a great vintage Datsun in their Ginza showroom as main attraction. I mean, is there really any form of management there ?

nissan selling well in china, looking to turn the table once they release aria in japan, navara, rogue in the us, magnite in india and they have some new models to be released worldwide next year .

Selling cars when China has an automotive crisis and a decline of general consumption across the board. China also has a USD shortage problem among its inhabitants, not CCP institutions. Selling cars in China to get the RMBs that no one uses?

Every foreign company in China yields no profit back to their home country because all of the revenues and profits are immediately re-invested into China. The CCP has strict capital control, so Nissan won't ever get its profits out of China.

Carlos Ghosn hates this news. So much for western management.

He has much better things to do. Rather than being an English netto uyoku on the Internet.

How is still due to debate?!

Do I have to state the obvious?

Nissan + Ghosn = Money

Nissan + Uchida = Bankruptcy

Suga is native Yokohama hence the support to save the local brand with their technology that once produced some legends in automotive industry, ie. Skyline, GTR, etc

This debates are very interesting.

We got oposite opinions on the same guy, same subject.

Goes from pro-Ghosn to anti-Ghosn within an hour.

@yinyang128 11:46am

its a global market now, they have had big presence in China, US, India market since Ghosn era that counted as profit

@yinyang128 12:50pm

let byghosn be byghosns guys, dude stole too much from Nissan for his lavish lifestyle and Japan inc had to inject stimulus to make up for that damage.

Goes from pro-Ghosn to anti-Ghosn within an hour.

that i was referring the money Nissan made in China counts as profit and revenue, as stated otherwise by other post.

was anti ghosn all the way, he was to blame from stealing too much from Nissan buying luxury houses, party, investment loss, lavish lifestyle etc, thats so corrupt and just blatant abuse of power, now Japan Inc had to make up for the mess he made. If there is to blame, its Ghosn for not using fair share of his earning but instead spend for his greed by taking what was not his right at the first place.

patience and never giving up is key and lets watch the underdog revive from their slump once they release their flagships next year.

siding ghosn or toyota is not paying my bills, but i have just profited from nissan shares that went up this morning, and so far we are happy with our serena taking us for doraibu to nice places in Japan running to a hundred thousand kms with no sign of breaking.

watch out Tesla. Aria and Leaf will be tough contenders for Chinese market next year.

its a global market now, they have had big presence in China, US, India market since Ghosn era that counted as profit, global market is now what nissan is aiming and the french renault own like 40 percent of nissan anyways.

its too early to call their death if they still have plenty weapons under their belt.

and this turnaround made while only releasing Kicks this year.

for buy low sell high stock investor like me nissan is a better pick for further future gain with their current discounted stock price.

Nissan which was Japan's second biggest carmaker is an "underdog"?.. Oh, pleeeease.

some guy that stole from nissan and bought luxury houses, party and paid for his investment loss predicted they will be bankrupt by 2020, clearly not many is favoring them making comeback at the moment.

Woo, that's nice. You ought to thank us tax payers for propping up your shares via a ¥130 bil state loan guarantee.

thats my money too, stimulus package work if only they have the will to work and make a comeback.

let byghosn be byghosns guys, dude stole too much from Nissan for his lavish lifestyle and Japan inc had to inject stimulus to make up for that damage.

I own a serena, and honestly still our favorite car for the family, and nissan makes quality cars.

looking to buy Aria when its two or three years down the market, with slashed price like Leaf, cant go wrong with electric suvs now they can run 500kms per charging.

their lineup scheduled for next year,

looks good to me as a nissan fan.

we'll see if nissan will go bankrupt in 2022 as ghosn predicted.

screw all the negative comments here. I hated nissan before but now i gotta say that the amount of innovation and the pace they 're working to release new models while enhancing quality in these 2 years is extremely impressive. i guess companies show what they're truly capable of in the tough times. Nissan, i'm impressed. guess what. i'm saving up to buy the Ariya. You better impress me with that one.
