Nissan Motor Corp on Thursday unveiled its new small SUV Kix for the Japanese market, targeting male consumers in their 50s to 60s. Its price range is 1,402,800 yen to 1,591,800 yen.
Nissan Senior Vice President Kazuhiko Toida said he expects good sales, but admitted that the company's sales have been slow-moving since the end of September. “It is too early to conclude the situation is bad because consumers may come back (to the market).”
The new model is supplied to Nissan by Mitsubishi Motors Corp under an OEM agreement, and the company expects 300 units sales per month.
