In the event of a breakup, a pair loan can complicate matters as one of the parties may wish to continue living in the property rather than selling it to repay the mortgage.

Good things will come to an end, however banks will always happy when anyone ask for the loan.

It will be smart if the government adopt this policy , you can't get a loan unless you commit, get married and start a family and if you have kids the limit will even increase or the rate will get discounted, not a bad idea I think.

Pair loans is more expensive than a standard loan, as insurance need to be on the two heads.

My loan with my wife together with insurance on my head only enabled us to save at least 10,000€.

Young couples are naive this way, and many tears will come unfortunately in thoses times where couples love to break.
