There'll always be market for TV's. Not many people want to watch their favorite program on a smartphone or tablet at home.

Bad idea.Just to lose more money. Korean copy cats companies will steal Japanese technology for sell them for half price.Dumping to be more precise.

Stepping down to take responsibility? To where? He'll still remain a director, with benefits, salary, etc., or be shunted off to become chairman or president of one of their subsidiaries, with the same.
