Putin encircles Ukraine. World encircles Putin.

Mikitani-san - you are a good man for supporting the Ukrainians.

Full respect.

A ¥bil that’s very cool. Might just be ¥ but how cool is that. We live in a world of individuals not states anymore. Lead the way dude.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Japan posted on Twitter details of a bank account for donations to the cause.

It doesn't need to be a billion.

銀行名:三菱UFJ 銀行

支店名:広尾支店(支店番号:047)

口座種類:普通口座

口座番号:0972597

口座名義:エンバシーオブウクライナ

Japan has to accept refugees from this tragedy.

If Ireland can accept refugees regardless of visa status then why can’t Japan?

Good for him. We (including me) should all support the Ukrainians with more than messages, there are a lot of refugees fleeing for their lives who are going to need some serious support.

I really hope for a future when this kind of positive actions become much more common.

Thank you dear Mikitani-san for your great help. Hoping that other billonaries will inspire and follow you.

Again thank you for your great contribution.

Some countries pledge to send ammunition and weapons. But i am curious how all these stuff and donation supplies are even gonna be delivered. The sea route is cut off. The sky is dominated by russia planes. And even at some borders area's there are still intense fighting for control. Unless these countries use military convoys to cut through russia troops, i kinda don't see how most stufff will end up in important cities. How do they plan to delivered the stuff?

Applause!! Have you seen the reports from Poland where people are showing up in their cars and offering rides to people. Some drove from 8 hours away just to help out. Some are offering their homes, food, etc. Real people with real hearts that just can’t standby and do nothing. Yes Japan should step up and offer a large group of them refuge stays in Japan.

The Russians thus far have only actually captured a small portion of Ukrainian territory, the land border in the west with Poland is very far from the nearest Russians and the Russian air force doesn’t control the skies there either.

@rainyday, but even then, the stuff will only reach that area. What about the others cities that are under siege? Or the border area's where there are intense fighting? Those are the places that require the stuff and the ammunition and anti-tank missiles won't reach there.

Not too sure anyone knows at this point with things shifting on the ground so much, but its a very big country and the Russians don’t have anywhere near the forces necessary to control it all so they’ll probably find ways of getting it where it is needed.
