@Silvafan

You mean Nissan and Japan should not meet with Renault! Ghosn was their guy!! main man in charged, the thief, runaway coward has a lonng list of crimes, even France wants him for crimes.

Ghosn destroyed the quality of cars produced by Nissan. Constantly cutting cost over QUALITY!

If you let Renault at the wheel again, 10 years from now... Even 5 years Nissan won't exist anymore!

All I can say is this...

Before Ghosn arrived Nissan is suffering heavy loss and it wasn't because they have bad product but because their own internal factors.

Cost cutting is not necessarily cutting quality, you can check what things his been done Nissan in the beginning.

Before sloving the real problems at hand , creating anything, products or otherwise is not going to convince the public. SLOVE the on-going nissan problem first.

Renault is finished. They are burning through cash and they have no money.

It looks like Nissan will be buying out the French.

Don't be too quick to write off Nissan yet, the media just repeat one of two bad stories of a few criminal activities. Those responsible should be punished. The company has always suffered from moving too slow with new designs, each one has a 7 year life. It's expensive to bring new cars out.. Very expensive. Get it wrong and your in trouble. Look at some companies recently Aston Martin maybe next. Nissan is always slow to cater to the younger generation too.. They also need to watch the cost of the cars, they're getting expensive

They will get a loan fir the French government who own shares in the company. They will be alright. If Renault sells then they should it to a Chinese company.

Wow, the most misleading & fake comment that i've heard in JT for a while.

Ghosn single-handedly rejuvenated Nissan from the brink of bankruptcy more than 20 years ago, & contributed very much to the Japan's Big Three (Toyota, Honda & Nissan) competitiveness, reliability & image as automotive producing country at world stage.

Countless book & study have been made highlighting Ghosn's drive to eliminate wastage & inefficiencies at Nissan prior to that.

Really unjustified prejudice has clouded, or even blinded the mind of some people here in Japan.
