@Bernard Marx well, dude. TSMC might but right now, it's not even able to secure sufficient water to prepare chips.

TSMC will likely be willing and able to plug the gap.

Firms including France's Renault, Germany's Volkswagen and Hyundai in South Korea told AFP they would take action as necessary to deal with any additional shortages, but declined to give details.

These companies will fill the gap. It is not good business to rely too much on one supplier ie. Japan.

It sounds so stupid, but they need to be more careful. Leave a gap in the supply chain for a product as lucrative as this, and someone is bound to come and fill it. Get your act together and start producing overtime.
