How come, according to news they all have their highest ever sales of EV who need chips, AI that needs memory blocks, and the economies are strong and recovering from Covid era, leading to a general lack of chips, and all such talking. So something is wrong with the news on economy, AI and EV or something is wrong with SAMSUNGs problems with chip and memory sales. Both can’t be true at the same time.

Why Drop in Chip Demand?

1) Excess demand during Covid lockdowns e.g. PC and Smartphone markets MUCH smaller today

2) Consumer and Corp. (direct or indirect/Cloud) Chip Demand MUCH smaller on aggregate basis due to INFLATION. Private sector economic growth slowing FAST
