Yay! I'll be there...once the line to get in falls to a reasonable 30-45 minutes or so.

If they're planning on sourcing any food from china, I'll pass.

Shake Shack is really good, but there are a lot of really good burger joints in Japan as of late.

Competition is going to be fierce.

Sounds good, I've heard good things about Shake Shack. Are the burgers actually good?

Lets hope that they will fail as with McDonald's - The Japanese population is slowly getting fatter, and therefore does not need anymore expensive Junk Food Outlets, (Notice that I didn't note the word "Restaurants" )

It's a good thing Japan has people looking out for its collective waistline, then. As for me, I'll give this burger place a ride when it lands here and see how these Shake Shack burgers shake out.

Sounds interesting. As such companies usually send their expert cooks when opening new outlets, gotta get one before the amateur part-time burger flippers take over.

"the chain’s biggest presence is in New York, with 15 shops" - article

Talk about a failure before a failure; Comedy is a dumb burger joint that makes a burger joint a major failure. Guess what, Shake Shack is a local joke. Been there, done that. 15 shops? A super proof of concept with no content.

I wish them success, never heard of them, I'm from the West Coast, so I'm more partial to "In n' Out and Carl's Jr. myself, but that's just my personal preference. I want to try one of these burgers, but my only hope is, they use the BEEF franks for their hot dogs and NOT like Costco use PORK franks. Also for the people that want to hate on the chain without trying anything, don't go, NO ONE is forcing you. But it's always nice to have a lot of options to choose from.

Good food though not cheap, good environment, but often quite busy so many people

Guess anything to replace McDonald's would be considered good. Everything is about "quality".
