"So glad I bought this!" said no Temu or Shein shopper ever. These junk sites are just a sickly symptom of CCP-backed consumer exploitation, flooding the market with cheap, disposable junk that falls apart faster than any notion of fair trade and ethical practices. Buying this garbage not only bankrolls Chinese Communist Authoritarianism but also undercuts OUR industries, exploiting laborers abroad while suffocating quality craftsmanship at home. It's a lose-lose for everyone... except the CCP, laughing all the way to the bank as we Westerners drown in piles of lead-laced trinkets, fast-fashion rags... and fentanyl!
Want to stick it this nutcrackery? Stop funding their landfill economy and invest in quality, accountability, and freedom instead.

Jay I think you are just overthinking.

Never tried Temu. Their storefront was really confusing with a weird coupon roller appearing without me being able to search. Shien was ok when I tried once. The quality was only ok but never felt like it was my new go to shop

Overthinking? If anything, I'm underthinking the sheer audacity it takes to shrug off selling out your own country for a $3 shirt that falls apart quicker than the time it took to read your comment.

I have bought from Temu.
Initially, I bought items under usd 10.00 to see the quality of the goods.
I was surprised how good the quality of the products were.
Their shipping is outstanding, so is their customer service if you have to return any items.
Prices being so low, I have tended to items that I could not afford before because of much higher markups in USA.
I have bought more expensive items like car seat covers which were about half the price I would have paid in USA.
My recommendations is to read carefully details about the items and if not sure, do not buy.
I have bought a couple things that looked big and useful on the site but turned out to be small and like toys.

Used Temu this week to buy good quality jeans for ¥2,000 . Arrived in four days. I’m happy.

I've been tempted, but no thank you!
If you only bought them this week, how do you know if they are good quality? I think it will take about 3 months to know if they are or not!

After 70 years I know my jeans.
I bought another item, a jacket but too small. They received it back without charge or shipping.

Sadly no words about other sites like this as there are many more...I have used LITB for cheap fun cycle jerseys, was ok, bought again other stuff, and might buy some bigger stuff in the future from Ali Baba. And nearly bought something yesterday on Tradeinn.com, huge selection for sport and outdoor stuff, easy to navigate, and all in Japanese, but on checkout I realized the product would ship from Spain and the costs for that were just exorbitant!

Nothing says I love you like some tat from a brutal authoritarian regime.

It’s more indicative of the American consumers and not the producers. They are commissioned based on demand.
You are what you buy. Americans love Walmart.
Cheap people visit junk sites. On top of that, you are a temu traitor backstabbing your country.

I'm more the Alibaba type, as a male more tech gadget interested than fashion, cosmetic or other female customers' needs covered like at Temu, but admitted, it's all very funny, an innovative shopping experience and addictive. And if you know or learn about their many little selling tricks, you can handle it in your favor. Even if not, it's still much cheaper in the end, still by factors and despite volatile pricing and general inflation effects. But I fully understand the many loud warnings too, although those are surely not issued for customers' safety but more to set the insurmountable rival in a bad light focus. The platforms in the West should urgently make some refurbishing and innovating investments to keep or regain pace with the Chinese selling platforms. A minimum would be just to copy them in a first step.
