Those not taking care of parents and kids should have their salries reduced, not the caretakers.

The most interesting thing about the 4 day work week is that Japanese firms were the first to implement it overseas. About 10 years ago, Toyota started trying it out in the EU and North America. They found it successful and other Japanese firms have tried it abroad.

Its only discrimination if its forced. Its an optional service that you pay for if you partake in it.
