I've never understood this kind of thinking. As if the average working stiff (in a country like Russia!) deserves to suffer because their government is doing something bad. Stop picking on the little guy, Jeffrey, and stand up to the movers and shakers who are actually committing these atrocities.

Really is a bit unfair to screw over the people in the street who didn't do anything wrong, while letting the crazy fool Putine run riot and kill people.
I get that it's necessary (probably) but it does not feel..... right.

This guy sounds like a total sociopath. 'Let's raise infant mortality so Russians turn against Putin!' There are perfectly legitimate humanitarian reasons to maintain operations in Russia. In fact this attitude is rather reminiscent of the tragedies imposed on Iraqi civillians in the aftermath of the first Gulf War.

Good post. The amount of racism against Russians even here in Liberal Tri-State area is immense. These so-called "progressives" are calling for violence against Russian ethnics.
Of course, I expect Japan to follow America blindly like the good "allies" they are, but I expect much better from Americans.

They voted him in and continue to believe his propaganda to support the war. They get what they voted for.

No there are not. Russia should have considered what it would lose before invading Ukraine. It is entirely the fault of the Russian leadership that Russia will lose these businesses and their products. Let Vladimir Putin figure out how to replace their products. Good luck.
