Musk, one of the most intelligent and innovative persons of our times using the most (in)famous bogeyman for attention grabs... smh

Why is it illegal for one Canadian to send money to another Canadian?

Um, the Emergency Act. Why are you asking why the law is the law?

Musk smoking too much dope

Tyrants and their enablers don't like it when people speak the truth. Look at who's been targeted recently in both Canada and the U.S.

They're perfectly fine spewing propaganda, however harmful, like Trump-Russia collusion, when it comes from leftists like Hillary.

It is again hilarious calling or comparing the little weak JT to a tyrant or any other moderately strong leader.

He sat back indecisively trying not to upset anybody until the population had enough and started to take things into their own hands only then did he do anything.

He isn't much of a leader or a man of action, P.E.T. would have ended the situation, far quicker with military boots on the ground.

Whatever he is, Trudeau is not a Hitler but Musk believes he's always the exception and above the rest of us. Time for a billionaires tax

100% I'm agreement, no one needs a billion dollars to themselves, especially when others need, water and food.

To be fair the Jewish American Committee looks for anything to get offended about.

Look at photos of these people, they are mostly from one group.

Few are from Ontario, even fewer from Quebec or the eastern provinces they come from the central and western provinces these the same provinces whose residents, municipalities, even provincial governments had to be taken to court in some cases all the way to the supreme Court do to discrimination laws, laws prohibiting teaching native America language, laws against the Metis, laws prohibiting people of Japanese ethnicity of buying land, laws requiring that only White Anglo-Saxon of British ancestry can live in their community, these laws still being enforced long long after the rest of Canada had stopped without needing to be told by the courts it was wrong.

Go home leave the 85% of Canadians that got vaccinated alone.

Musk is clever but defective.

elon bends over backwards to appease the Chinese genocidal regime because he knows they’ll not put up with his antics.

But when democratic regimes call him out on his irresponsible and possibly criminal acts he whines like a petulant child.

7 ( +12 / -5 )

The letter comes 10 days after Tesla disclosed that it received an SEC subpoena seeking information on the company's compliance with the 2018 agreement.

The courts should keep doubling the amount every time elon starts acting up!!!

I think democrats should claim Elon as their own, the strategy of Warren and Bernie attacking him as some tax cheat and Biden ignoring Tesla is terrible. Whatever dem strategist came up with that should be fired, honestly I think between the Joe Rogan and Elon hate the dems are shooting themselves in the foot when they could easily have a larger more inclusive tent. Elon and Rogan are totally liberal progressives at heart, they just want to see concrete practical action from their government.

I am not so sure if they are liberals because, in all honesty, they just couldn't pass the liberal litmus test. But I do love me some Musk and Rogan for sure.

Funny how these articles never tell us what exactly was said, much less in what context. Rather than explaining what was said, they give us vague descriptions that are wide open to interpretation, which the article then interprets for us. "Comparing Canada's leader to Hitler" could be anything.

This kind of non-reporting is how the masses are manipulated.

Musk is clever but defective.

He is known to be on the autism spectrum. He needs supports he may not be receiving. Often those on the spectrum do not realize their needs. Autism is also noted for the sufferer being blithely unaware of the feelings or needs of others. The Au in Autism refers to self. They think of themselves but not others.

My bad. There was a description in the article. Found the Tweet funny - but what do I know?

Mr Musk believes rules do not apply to him and hinder his ability to make even more money. An anti establishment individual who both questions and berates western nations and their leaders while he kowtows to China the biggest potential market of all.

Musk thinks he can do whatever he likes in earth orbit by junking up the skies and making manned flights all the more dangerous.

Can’t say that Trudeau is a Hitler but he is certainly very misguided and should not be controlling Canadians as he is…

2 ( +3 / -1 )

A friend was an engineer at Musk's SpaceX, but quit because they (he) demanded too much of his employees.

While I admire Mr. Musk, he does seem to lack empathy.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Loads of people admire this union breaking, environment wrecking, anti vax moron. Why? Because he's rich.

He's not innovative. I had ten year old friends with more imaginative ideas than musk. But musk had rich parents, and can employ truly skilled and innovative people.

People worth admiring do things like rescue children from certain death that were lost in caves. Musk chooses to describe such people in the most derogatory terms.

The world would be such a better place without the narcissist Musk.

What Justin Trudeau has done is appalling, but surely someone clever enough to be so enormously rich should know that most any comparison to Hitler is idiotic and only muddies the water.

He and his is another scumbag cult of personality. He is a smarter version of the trumps. Most of what they produce is crap.

I never liked JT, he is not and never will be P.E.T. but as far as I can see, 85% of Canadians got vaccinated, 70% support firing those in certain jobs and position refusing to get vaccinated.

So it seems quite clear the vast majority support the present government policy even if they may not support JT himself.

Oh and JT doesn't "control" Canada and any Canadian knows this as the provinces have way more power to allow any PM to actually Control.

In the US, people have freedom of speech, but there are limitations. The FTC and SEC have rules to prevent insider trading, which prevent people in control positions in public companies from telling lies about the company they control. These rules are there to protect investors and part of the rules that have to be followed to gain access to the US equity markets.

Musk doesn't get to ignore a rule, just because he doesn't like it.

He is free to talk about almost anything else in the world. He can talk about the competition too. He just isn't allowed to lie about companies where he has more than 10% ownership or where he has a key position in corporate decisions. Those are the rules.

Musk is South African -- Canadian -- US. He is a citizen of all three. Born in ZA, moved to Canada, then to the US. All legal.

Comparing Trudeau to Hitler is just an attention-grabbing and instantly understandable way of saying he (Trudeau) is a tyrant. It seems a perfectly reasonable criticism to me, given his actions.

For those who voted down my comment regarding Mr. Musk's autism, please know that I offered my comment not to be snarky or condescending but to offer my observation of Mr. Musk as the parent of an autistic child and based my comment on our experience raising him and all that we have had to learn about autism to deal with recalcitrant schools and help our little man grow into a productive adult.

Mr. Musk has nobody but himself to blame. He has used social media posts to manipulate the value of Tesla stock. That is not legal for a publicly traded corporation. The SEC and courts have told Mr. Musk to clear any tweets regarding Tesla financials with the court before releasing them. He has refused to obey a lawful order from a judge and that friends is very much contempt of court. The judge has every right to send him to jail for it. If Mr. Musk is so offended by the judges order he has the right to appeal it to a higher court. He certainly can afford to do so. He really has no legal excuse for his conduct.

Before we go Willy-milky drawing comparisons to Hitler, let’s break down what he liked and hated.

Hitler Liked:

Animal rights

Vegetarianism

Anti-smoking ordinances

Minimum wage laws

State owned STEM industries

Hitler hated:

Catholics

Gays

”unproductive” people

Jews
