A mere drop in the bucket for a company like Toyota which has the best selling car in the US - Camry and the world - Corolla. Toyota's onslaught of next-gen EVs, leadership on Hybrids and Fuel Cell cars will make Tesla's valuation a house of cards.

Thanks Elon! Can’t wait to see what is next!

sorry only Toyota thinks that, Tesla has a profit margin of around 30% compared to legacy makers at around 9%. why do you think German autopakers are so afraid of Germany Giga factory. it take about 30hrs to build a VW car compared to 10hrs for Tesla. EVs are considerable cheaper, faster to make require very little service and have battery life of at least 500000km, average range is now between 200-300miles , batteries are only getting cheaper. China now makes an EV with a 1000km range per charge

why do you think Ford GM VW even Toyota are scrambling to build battery factories, they know they fracked up with regards to EVs and are trying to play catchup. Tesla has been doing this for over 10yrs

they now got their own battery factories and China is supplying the rest, no legacy automaker is even close to to Tesla efficiency.

Im most certainly no a Tesla fanboy but EVs are selling rapidly in EU and now account for over 20% of all Chinese sales. China now sells mini EVs for around $7000. Foreign battery patents ran out in 2021 China is gearing up to export its dozens of different EV models. why do you think China wants to join the TPP. Theres a huge wave of cheap Evs coming and legacy autos are crapping themselves. other than Nissan, Japanese automakers are late to the party again reagrding EVS. they dont want them because they cant fleece owners the $billion in servicing cost of ICE vehicles. Tesla doesnt need to discount their vehicles as they sell everyone they make. but when they do start a price war theyre well places to crush the opposition, a $20k family EV isnt that far away.

most new evs consume about 15-20kwh per 100km / 60miles , so depending were you live or what your offpeak night electricity rates are you can run an EV at around $2-3 per 100km. even less if youve got solar panels. many new evs even have solar panels molded into their roof, so they can charge while parked or moving. add to that regen braking, most evs only require tire changes, brake pads last around 40k because the regen brakes do most of the work, no oil, no belts no filters. It doenst take a rocket scientist to see which vehicles is economically more logical

no Toyota hybrid comes even close to that

how many ICE vehicles have been recalled for fires faulty airbags faulty components over the last 10yrs,

10s millions, get this ICE cars are far more prone to fires than Evs

there is nothing "cool" about Toyota EVs and no one is super excited to own one.

Musk has nothing to worry about, for now.

Average production:

GM: 6.8 million

Toyota: 10 million

Volkswagen: 11 million

Tesla: 700,000 recalls

Elon Musk is a social media influencer that uses his facade to get financially wealthy people to invest in his ventures like Kardashians used a "sextape". Like other social media influencers, everything that they say should be believed with a grain of salt, and the products that they persuade others to buy are not all that great.

Musk is also a poser. After getting attacked by Chinese netizens, he capitulated to the Chinese government by opening a store in Xinjiang, where China is accused of orchestrating a genocide — and where Apple and Google have faced pressure to stay away from. China wants to legitimize Xinjiang in the eyes of the world and the Chinese population.

Like trump, Musk is a cult of personality with an ego big enough to sellout the US for personal gain.

I predict TESLA technology and NASA top secret data from his contract with the US to end up in the hands of CCP sooner rather than later.

sorry only Toyota thinks that, Tesla has a profit margin of around 30% compared to legacy makers at around 9%.

California's Clean Vehicle Rebate Program or "CVRP" gives buyers of electric or hybrid vehicles up to $9500 in rebates on their purchase. That is $9500 that Tesla effectively keeps because without that program Tesla would have to reduce its price to sell the same number of cars. Other states have similar subsidies for EV and hybrid car purchases.
