Low prices should cure those low prices sooner or later.

@fxgai Exactly; just like the cure for the high prices a few years ago was high prices. The world is awash in food so high leveraged farmers and small margin tiny producers are being forced out.

Trade prices "may" have fallen, however from my own retail purchases of coffee ... I see the opposite happening. Now a bag of refill bag of Nescafe instant coffee has gone up by 100 yen to 598 for 150g, and a jar of 200g at 898 !
