Make America Great Again, Make Workers Great again!

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

the automakers have not fairly shared their record profits with workers.

This rhetoric is quite silly; if workers want a greater share, they should invest some of their savings in their company’s “shares”.

But the flip side is, should those “shares” go down in value for whatever reason, they would see the value of their “shares” decrease.

This is what it means to be a shareholder.

As a worker, you want to be paid each month, no matter what happens to the price of “shares”.

Workers cannot expect to have a greater share, without also facing a share of any losses. One would have thought the President would be aware of this.
