Man, I hope the stock market recovers.

Wondering, how will stock react if he dies "due to corona"?

Unemployment is at depression era levels, and the stock markets are very happy.

The incompetent, corrupt dictator-wannabee might have to leave the White House early, and the stock markets go down.

The stock markets don't make any sense.

We all knew the virus would take him out on Election Day. None of us realized it would happen even before that!

It's another mad twist in the day of a ridiculous country in a ludicrous year. Trying to predict what could happen between now and then seems increasingly futile.

I hope the stock market devalues to reflect the true economic situation and billionaires who so far profitted from the virus, lose absolutely everything. As for the Trumps, the mercy you show shall be the mercy you receive. Good luck.

Great post, except, its not billionaires, its new investors who are playing the market like a video game out of boredom and their the ones who are gonna get screwed.

The wild swings are just new young people with no real grasp on the gravity of the situation gambling for highs.

example: Hertz, idol group BTS

It’s interesting that the markets dropped on this. Haven’t they already priced in a Biden win?

Some players still give Trump a chance, it seems.

If he recovers two weeks from now dies that give the market a little bump?

Or do markets think Trump may get a sympathy vote and thus selling off on that? Who knows :)

Oh Bob, I'm sorry you are over exposed. You know there is help out there if you lose bigly in your investments. Good luck!

The uncertainty of having the leader of the world's biggest economy incapacitated is what mainly explains the lower stock prices.

The Los Angeles Times reported that the mortality rate for someone with his pre-existing conditions and age may be as high as 32%.

I’d rather have Pence :)

the situation on the stock exchange needs to reflect the horrific reality for us plebs -economic carnage.

It’s not all bad though. Take a look at Boeing shares. Take a look at Amazon shares.

If you wanna see something sinking to feel better, look at a political opinion poll instead.

Tokyo Stock Exchange was down for 24h.

....and you blame a foreign leader for your stock market drop???

worse off, if he dies and Pence takes over

@Gaikokujin I've no idea about those that play the markets for fun, except one poor soul who needlessly committed suicide over losses. They should not be extended the ability to over expose themselves. I'm very sad for these people. That said, the situation on the stock exchange needs to reflect the horrific reality for us plebs -economic carnage.

Thats a shame. I hope that in some strange way, President Trump's recovery will somehow have a positive effect on the Nikkei.

Thoughts & prayers for a speedy recovery for the best stock market ever!
