Japanese companies' financial statements and accounting methods cannot be trusted. Any foreign company should stay far away.

Not difficult to return to profit, if that actually is the case, when government donates you billions. Toshiba is gone, just prolonging the death struggle

Toshiba is a good acquisition to liquidate assets. Don't expect anyone in the West to "turn the company" around.

Toshiba Laptops are so good but don't understand why they discontinued (in the West). Asus, Asics, HP, Samsung and Lenovo are ruling it on the Windows. All I can find about the Toshiba is only the external hard drives but it's also slowing down.

Well, doesn't matter what you people think about Japanese accounting standards but Toshiba's too valuable to go down. Finally some good news about the company and hope it gets back on it's own feet.

Buyout a Japanese company? So yhey can stab your back after 20 years?

Toshiba has too many important technologies, I don't know if management is foolish to let it leak overseas. I don't support any buyout of Toshiba.
