Toyota recalls 260,000 cars in U.S.

Meanwhile - General Motors is recalling almost 780,000 older-model compact cars in North America because a faulty ignition switch can shut off the engines without warning and cause crashes.

The company says six people have died in 22 crashes linked to the problem in Chevrolet Cobalts from the 2005 through 2007 model years, and Pontiac G5s from 2007.

So it seems those who slag off Toyota should also look closer to home.

Or one can stop trying to desperately "defend" Japanese companies because well... it's Japanese. Even though we're supposed to be critical of any corporations of any origin because THAT'S what benefits us as consumers, not blindly defending out of nationalism.

With the other recall of 1,900,000 cars reported for TOYota this year, it will make them No.1 in the world on this list also

You only hear " recall" and not seeing for what, those close to 2 milion cars were recalled because of software glitch, as you never heard that in your life, every software in this world has to update it self, because, you cant predict all situation perfectly, so this glitch, its totally unavoidable
