So what are you glad you bought? Even with the recalls, Toyotas are safer, more reliable and of superior quality to American cars.

NetNinjaMar. 08, 2012 - 03:28PM JST I'm so glad I didn't buy a Toyota. I'm really good at picking cars. Haven't hit a landmine yet.
You cannot fool the public. After five years of ownership, Toyota retains resale value as good top cars such as BMW, Mercedes, or Porsche. You cannot fool the public. Toyota makes good cars. Can you say same about resale value of Ford Fusion, Chevrolet Malibu, Hyundai Sonata, or Chylser products after five years? They are worth 25 to 40 percent less than Camry.

This seems to be happining very offten now to this once considered by many as a good automaker, it took Toyota a long time in the USA/World before it was accepted as making quality autos, just glad nobody was hurt "yet" this time except for Toyota name. May be time to get back to just making better autos and not try too just outproduce everybody else.

If it is a serious actual problem then i'm glad they caught it, but recently Toyota seems real nervous about everything. I think that big problem with the Lexus and stuff really spooked them and they are recalling everything. Thats almost a million cars they recalled this year.
I guess its awesome that they are adopting the "better safe than sorry" strategy but i hope it doesnt hurt their business more than it helps them.

Good, this should be the end of it. Since there were no reported accidents or deaths resulting from this, I would say it was caught in time. But let's see how many people exercise their litigious rights and try and get a money handout, anyway. AM I being cynical? Probably......so sue me.

Good that they found the problem and already fixing it...
