Because of the past experience, Toyota maybe is recalling at a higher frequency because they may be more cautious and proactive. Some recalls might even be regarded as positive PR moves if they’re initiated voluntarily and in a timely manner.

@Pathmasekara Kumara yep just like GM has been doing with there ignition switches, which has caused deaths. they have been hiding the problems and now there are class action lawsuits against them. http://www.autonews.com/article/20140319/OEM11/140319798/gm-sued-in-california-over-ignition-switch
