Arrrgh-Type
It looks like Toyota is consolidating its power with any available non-affiliated Japanese carmaker. Subaru, Mazda, Suzuki, Isuzu... all will have cross-shareholdings, jointly-developed platforms, and/or shared factories with Toyota. Daihatsu and Hino are already fully owned subsidiaries of Toyota. Nissan and Mitsubishi, of course, are busy with Renault. Only Honda will remain independent, it seems.

Toyota also needs to increase its stake in Yamaha to 25% .
