Toys “R” Us Japan Ltd will open a new store on July 22 in Kyoto. The Kyoto Station Store will be the company’s second in Kyoto, bringing the total number of stores in the Kansai region to 30 and 167 across Japan.

The new Kyoto store offers Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us locations next to each other on site - bringing customers one-stop-shop convenience, with a broad assortment of toys, baby items, games, and other children’s products all under one roof.

Located in the Kaede Building within Aeon Mall Kyoto, which is home to approximately 130 specialty stores, Toys “R” Us/Babies “R” Us also brings easy access to the city’s major hub at Kyoto Station.

If Kyoto has a large population of children, a new store can serve specific products and services of toys and related products. Parents have more chances to take their kids to a store on weekend. Japan's baby boom is promoted if more young couples commit to raise their kids and maintain a dual role of successful employees and responsible parents. Marriage lives and parenthood are important in Japan to impact on toy markets for kids.

Isn't most of the Toys"R" Us stuff made in China? What's the point of buying it, then? Why turn over childhood to corporate baby "care"...keep your yen. Go other ways to enrich the little tots life. Has worked for millions of years.
