E-commerce is nothing new, and the retail giants all understand this - however different retailers adapted different, hence why a lot of the old school retailers are going out of business.

Still, he added, “I don’t think we’re moving to an online-only world.” problem with many of these brick and mortar retailers is while many of them have online stores also they refuse to sell their products lower online than in their stores, they're trying desperately trying to have a store and online presence while keeping their profit margins intact. people want the convenience of online shopping while also getting a bargain at the same time. whenever I go electronics shopping at a store for example i always check the online price first, find the same product at the store then ask the salesman to at least get within 10% of the online price, if they cant I just say thanks but no thanks ill buy it online. cheers
