Uniqlo launches new Heattech lineup for winter

Uniqlo and Toray Industries, which have been collaborating on the Heattech line of thermal underwear since 2003, presented their new lineup for the fall-winter season at Tokyo Midtown on Thursday.

Some Heattech items have actually been on sale since July 29. For men, the new lineup of Heattech tank tops have a deodorization effect. For women, the items are lighter and retain moisture better. The children's wear are 2 cm longer to keep the stomach warm.

These heat techs from uniqlo are actually pretty good. I wear them a lot during winter. It really helps keep the body warm. I gotta say they're pretty darn cheap too over at Uniqlo. Love clothes in Japan!

I'm guessing these will be a popular line in Tokyo particularly as people try to stay warm in winter while trying to keep power comsumption down.

Heat-tech is wicked warm. I would expect to see this kind of quality gear at an outdoor shop with prices I wouldnt consider - but Uniqlo do it cheap and super comfortable. No wonder the company is doing so well.
