Glad to see Uniqlo survive and make a profit.

South Korea tried hard to affect this company, Koreans boycott the store on mass.

They would even watch the Uniqlo stores and criticize other Koreans who would go inside as unpatriotic. Many Unilqo stores in South Korea had to shut down because of it.

Consolidated revenue is acutally slidely down (-0.6% yoy), which is still good considering the overall economic situation. Sales in Japan have increased but international sales are down by 7.2% (yoy). It appears that increase in profit comes largely from cutting advertisement cost.

People still need to replace clothing, even during a pandemic. Children still grow out of the clothing they had last year.
