These articles on the economy and employment always have this weirdly positive spin on them by economists that usually differs greatly from the reality on the ground.
A few months ago there was a similar article that the jobless rate was rising as the employment market was recovering and people were searching for "better jobs".

The money is being printed.
BARAMAKI policy to the left and right so people doesn't have to work.
Borders are closed so the cheap labour from overseas can't enter.
The result is better job availability.
However the wages are still stagnant.

As you surely know, the border is only closed for tourists. Or are you suggesting people come as tourists and work illegally and that has dried up? If so, that's maybe true.
