The fate of Japanese investments in the Brit islands is 100% decided by the Japanese. Others have been quicker. American big customers of my company (selling globally industrial parts) have already changed the place of delivery from UK to the continent.

Nissan has already moved future X-Trail production to Japan, and Honda will close their UK factory in a few years (they say it’s not because of Brexit, but, c’mon.)
