Oh boy, I remember some older cars I have had (1960s and 70s iron) who's engines would stop at traffic lights and then refuse to restart o_O Much embarrassment as you grind away at the starter while the drivers in the cars behind you lean into their horns.

I really dislike the start-stop engines. They wear out your spark plugs quickly and I don't really think they save much gas.

A question. Do the air conditioners turn off when the engines cut off at stop lights? (I drove a start-stop car a couple of times but wasn't using the air conditioner at the time.)
