Wow! What a revelation! (NOT!) Every country in the world has suffered a major economic slump because of the pandemic.

Full recovery will not happen before 2025 and more likely 2030 and some businesses and sectors will never recover.

hopefully on the good side that means less pollution and overproduction and waste.

in the apparel business 30+ % of what was produced was never sold, in the watch industry that is 80 % although the watch movements are reused. Supermarkets in Japan are notorious for the amounts of wasted food.

personnally i hope all the air bnb and uber like “ services” go under. They are allowed to live parasitic business lives

Lets just wait and see what this fall and winter will look like.. the WHO and CDC are not painting a very pretty picture

There have been many disastrous pandemics in the past, with the most recent being the "flu" of 1918-1920. We will get through this, but the trick is to do so with as few casualties as possible. If a safe vaccine is discovered, that would not only save lives, but lead to a restored economy.
